Spam.... mmmmmm good

I'm not a huge fan of most fish. I do like making and eating grilled or smoked salmon and tuna (grilled shark is also good), but I generally take a pass on species like trout or tilapia. I could eat crustaceans like lobster, crabs, and shrimp every day.
 
All the talk about crabs reminded me, when the first wife and mother of my son was pregnant, her cravings as they say pregnant women have was for a Dunstan crab from the San Francisco bay... I would go down to the local fish shop in San Mateo, tell the guy (would you call him a fish monger?) that I wanted a 3 or 4 pound crab, he would pull it out of the pot, beat it with a piece of 2x4 to crack the shells and wrap in brown paper.... Kathleen my step daughter would take her plate to the living room as she couldn't stand the smell. Some times wonder if all that crab is what instilled my son's attitude. :D
