My wife the mathematician and the rest of the math division have for years celebrated Pi day by making pies and serving them to the students.
My wife cooked two pies, both apple and one she cooked in her Pi plate.
They set up tables loaded with sliced pies and allowed those with mathematical inclinations to eat as much pi as they like. This year they served a total of 36 pies and according to my wife the pies were gone in less than an hour. There were no leftovers and Big Mike did not get any pi....
