Not a woodworking hand tool but a hand tool none the less. I just realized how long these little cutters have been in my life.

They have nipped many a brad or nail, snipped wire flush, and I must admit . . . . even been used as a tiny hammer now and then over the years. Funny. As I get older the sheer duration of my use of a tool hits me now and again.
 
Those sidecutters are bedeviled in my tool kit. They keep vanishing. I buy two or three a year and still cannot find them. :unsure: BTW, I find the useful even in the wood working shop.

I've still got a few Craftsman screwdrivers and pliers that that I got when I was about 7 or 8 years old, and they still get regular use.
