Well to all of you this is a Bbq but to me its a Braai. lol
Anyhow as part my my wedding gift to my son i gave him my barrel Bbq i made.
Problem was transporting it in our fake pickup car (cough another SWMBO project) required that i cut it in half for transportation under the tonneau cover .
Well i decided to turn the negative into an opportunity.
Had to cut it about 1" square tubing and have some method of joining on other end.
Decided to see if i could find a tight fitting larger piece of square tubing. Sure enough got the only piece i could find in the scraps pile of local metal supplier bingo at $7
Then i had the brain wave of making some shorter legs that would be able to be used if say they want to go to a picnic place or beach for the day.
So made some small legs and drilled holes for pins and rest is history.
Bbq came in handy at venue where all the family had assembled in NS for the wedding.
Now they can transport it by car.
