Morel Mushroom processing

I spent the morning cleaning up and processing the morel mushrooms I’ve found over the past week.

They hung out in a saltwater bath up to this point.

All were sliced in half, dipped in egg and crushed crackers. Put on wax paper on a cookie sheet and froze for an hour before putting in food saver bags and froze.

I did save a few out to fry up in butter for lunch. ;)
