i decided to give engraving cork coasters a try. after testing, i find i am not too fond of the new year one.

I like your designs. Are they intentionally off-center (closer to the edge at the top than the bottom) or is that just the nature of the QC-ing the designs?

i think that is more an accident than intentional. will have to move the blank a touch up for the production runs.

I use card board from tables or poster board tape to the bed of the laser. Then cut the design out, then use the cutout to place the next part. Works really well

I have a camera on mine and it lets me place the artwork in the right place every time. It is a cheap investment less than $50 and lightburn works well with it. what is really nice is I can do an engraving and later put the piece back on the table and add to it. I wouldn't be without one now.

tonight's test run for the updated version of the advent candle holder worked out pretty good.

production has begun! got all of the army, navy, and air force coaster sets done. now i have to wait for the next day off to get more done.
