Making Cool Stuff - with Glazing

OK - I videoed the Glazing test with 5 different clear coats.

Honestly, I was expecting something different, but I did learn something.

I need to put the videos together.

This will be a new "journey"

Greenman-1 is all cut out.
Greenman-2 is still on the machine. I used a 1/8 TBN, but I went back and created a 1/16 TBM toolpath to create some finer details on the Greenman-2 3D face.

Not sure where this is going but I want to put this into a video format something like The Vault --- "Journey"

I want something a little better than The Vault.
Something, entertaining yet informative.
Something about me and Leo's Workshop
The Journey - I love that - Tell a story

I gotta start somewhere. I just recorded a video to kick it off, - but I don't like it.

I will post the entire journey, including my rambelings to this forum, but this forum will have more personal involvement.
Kinda like what youtube content creators do with a patreon page.
The members get more content because they support the youtube channel.
I am not ready yet to be doing that.

Sooo - you guys are my patreons for now and you don't need to support my channel.
I will buy my own coffee.

Getting started is the most difficult part.
For the most part I am not going to be a polished or cinematic creator.
Others do it so much better than I do.

I am not going to try to be a DIY teacher
Again there are already so many that are better than I am.

Just me in my shop doing what I love to do.

OK - Take 2 on a new beginning!!!!

OK - OK

You should already KNOW - the project is already further along.
I will make the next video or 2 to cover what we already discussed here.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please do me a favor -
I know that we are all sick of hearing it.
I do it to help my fellow Youtubbers.

Please - LIKE - Subscribe - and please make comments on the youtube video

Believe it or not - those things really do a lot to help my itsy bitsy channel grow

Sooooo Let the Journey BEGIN

Following along. I'm trying to get my account setup with Grimco again, but need to update my tax id. They carry the Duna CORAFOAM HDU in 15#, 20# and 28# in 4' x 8' to 5' x 10' sheets. Also can get 1/2" to 3" in thickness. What thickness do you prefer to work with?

I don't have a local source for Corafoam but I have heard great reviews about it.

I have samples or Precision board up to 45# and that is really hard dense stuff.
On the signfoam I can get 15# and 18#
It's OK stuff - actually the 18# is pretty nice.
The 30# Precision foam that Dan Sawatsky used is - wow

I hoarded a lot of stuff prior to retiring when I had some money to work with.
Now - I don't buy much anymore.
When I had a side job I always bought way more material than I needed.
The job paid for it and I didn't make a penny.
Kinda like retirement savings.

I stocked 3/4, 1", 1-1/2 and 2" Some was damaged stock at a reduced price.
I also stocked up with PVC sheets, Alupanel Sheets and some other stuff.

PAINFUL - is not even close to describing how much computer related trouble I had making this segment. Not even close. I had a little trouble making the video in Adobe premier elements, but when it came time to create the MP4 video WOW - I worked on that for 2 days.

Still waiting on my new HP and I really do need it.

I ended up copying all the files to a USB stick - then copying that into Dianes Asus notebook and installed Adobe into that then created the video - then back to my desktop then up to Youtube.

But - here it is.
