since i cannot get ahold of the usual supplies of walnut and maple, going with the select pine. only problem, cannot use the tall candles. so, as they say, necessity is a mother, and i came up with a new design. fun part is that it will use both the cnc, and laser. cnc to cut the outer edges, and laser to engrave the design, followed by drilling the insets for the tealight candle cups. then it will be finished with a couple of coats of clear shellac. i will be picking up the lumber today, have enough glass cups from prior projects, and ordered the rose, and purple candles earlier.
