2024 batch of wind chimes

since the redneck windchimes sold pretty good, another batch is in the works. i have all the brass needed (.308 winchester), removed the primers (fired brass of course), threaded the lengths of string through them, cut all of the strings for the blank one, and the twine for the hangers on the backs. making some changes as well, instead of just painting, and heading for the cnc, going a bit rustic with these. i will be scorching them, a quick coat of clear shellac, and off to the cnc. thinking about changing the font on the lettering, but haven't had too much time lately to look into that.

got some shop time in today. got the boards cut to length, and gave them a good scorching. later, gave them a coat of shellac to set the scorching.

carved them last night while the laser stuff was going on.

got all but one done. just have to cut, scorch, and carve the new one. all the shells, and hanger twine have been added.
