    Next Saturday, Feb. 21 the Durham Woodworking Club in Oshawa will be making a presentation of 200+ turned pens to Jim Shaver the originator of the project www.Pens for Canadian Peacekeepers.ca. This group turned by myself is just a small group of those to be presented!

    My daughter that lives in MI has recently taken up quilting. I had the brilliant idea :D to turn her a Seam Ripper. These things are just as addicting as pens, you just can't turn 1. A great project to use up those left over lengths of acrylics.

    Nothing is ever really new!

    Not really an original idea! A great friend of mine sent these as blanks to me some years back. He didn't think they had the standards of pen blanks that he wanted to turn into pens! What do you think?

    An old adage came to my mind!

    I think it went some how like this; "If you love something, let it go; if it comes back to you, it was meant to be yours! This one came back to me yesterday. Not the one that left me, but it's twin. I owe my daughter-in-law a pen. Hopefully this weekend, I'll get it done!
