Solved the New Grinder location problem

I rebuild the end of my cut-off saw table to create a place to put my new grinder. I also added a small shelf below to hold all my sharpening stuff. I put my square mortiser on a out of the way storage shelf since it is rare that I use it. ( That is actually another problem ). BEFORE...

    Christmas presents... I made

This was the only thing I got done for Christmas. I had never made any end grain "butcher" blocks so I tried for coasters. The individual cuts were 7/16" of an inch. I ended up with about 30 of them from one glue up block. I gave them to my team at work also. I was really happy with the...

Planer Stand, All Kreg, All butt joints.. quick

Sorry for the delay... The real job gets in the way. The dimensions are: 34" wide 22" deep 29" high + 4" caster = 33" high The height is designed to be close to my out feed table on the TS. What I would change. This thing is really bigger than I wanted. I was going for stability. I would...

Planer Stand, All Kreg, All butt joints.. quick

I finally got tired of lifting my lunch box planner off the floor onto the table saw out feed table. So I looked around at the "extra" plywood I had and did some quick plans and came up with this. Looks like it might be a place to store jigs and such. It's real sturdy. I have to create a...

    Green Egg Table

We decided to get a Green Egg There are lots of plans for tables for these things. So I looked around and found one with the basic measurements. I decided to use ash. Probably not the best choice for outdoor wood but I needed about 60 board ft. and it was only $2 per bf. It's really...

What kind of wood is this?

I bought this years ago and do not know what it is. It is very splittery. When I am working a large piece I use gloves, or I will get splitters in my hand. This was used on the box I am making. I have a nice large piece so it will get a lot of use.
